Arduino is an open-source hardware and software board for eletronic prototyping. Created in Italy, was made to be an simple, easy and low-cost board that can be used to make several projects, since robotic to home automation, etc.

Installation

# xbps-install arduino

Configuration

Accessing serial

Arduino board comunnicates to your computer via a serial connection or a serial-over-USB.

Troubleshooting

Application not resizing with WM, menus immediately closing

You will need to install the package openjdk-jre8 and then, in /etc/profile.d/10_oracle-jre.sh you write export _JAVA_AWT_WM_NONREPARENTING=1.Then, log out and log back in.
