Core infrastructure

There is one Hetzner Dedicated Root Server EX41 funded by Gottox that hosts most of the VMs. A smaller server is funded by Pulux that currently does monitoring.

build.voidlinux.org

  • System: VoidLinux / linux4.9
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Disk: 32GB boot / 1TB repository / 100GB live-CD and assets
  • Access: xtraeme, Gottox, leah, maldridge

Qemu VM on Hetzner Server. Managed with ansible.

Hosts the central repository and builds new packages. Therefore, whenever a large (re-)build is being done updates may suffer in the meantime. This is usually announced in our Twitter account, which also appears on the front page as a widget, please retry later if so.

mail.voidlinux.org

  • System: VoidLinux / linux4.9
  • RAM: 1GB
  • Disk: 32GB boot
  • Access: xtraeme, Gottox, bougyman

Qemu VM on Hetzner Server.

Does mail.

community.voidlinux.org

  • System: VoidLinux / linux4.9
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Disk: 32GB boot
  • Access: Gottox, duncaen

Qemu VM on Hetzner Server.

Hosts the wiki. There are plans to move the forum to this vm too.

md.voidlinux.org

  • System: VoidLinux / linux4.4
  • RAM: 2GB
  • Disk: 30 GB
  • Access: pulux, Gottox, maldridge

Qemu Hosted at Hetzner directly. Managed with ansible.

Monitors all services at VoidLinux and will later become a geoip redirector for all mirrors.
